Another year passing

 

I had a birthday last month. Thanks an awesome husband and an awesome friend, it was a great day. I mean, look at my little ladies above? Love them. 

The night before my birthday, Chris managed to cajole our sweet nursery leaders into babysitting for us for the night. We drove out to the Eastern Shore and ate dinner at a fancy french restaurant in Cambridge, MD. Chris had a work retreat, but they said no wives aloud :( Chris got to stay at the fancy Hyatt after I left. I went and hung out with him the morning of my birthday though, and got the best possible gift I could have thought of. I watched "Midnight in Paris" in a super luxurious bed and then went on a run while listening to some great, great music. Here are some scenes from the run:

 That afternoon I headed back to my beautiful children, renewed and relaxed. Lucky for me, my bff  brought her darling boys down for some Cafe Rio, birthday cake a rocking sleep over.

I am so sad we didn't get a picture together, Tiffany!! Next time for sure. Thank you for making my day special!
